Course Description
This course explores a wide array of assessment strategies and instructional interventions to assist students struggling with reading. Core questions addressed in the course include:

What are the different phases of reading?
What internal and external assessments can you use to track a student's reading performance?
What problems are associated with different phases of reading and why do they develop?
What strategies and interventions can you use to help struggling readers?
