Course Description
In this course, you will learn how to integrate the Internet and web-based instructional
resources for teaching mathematics. Activities include exploring virtual critical thinking,
mathematics simulations, developing practical experience in locating information using online
resources, and applying it to curriculum and instruction. Core questions addressed in the
course include:
- How does the Internet support mathematics instruction?
- How can the Internet supplement your curriculum?
- How can Internet sites help promote higher order thinking skills?
- How can students use the Internet to solve real-life
mathematics problems?
- How does the Internet help integrate mathematics into other
subject areas?
